The Miracle of America Tour

The “Miracle of America” began as a 13-hour course on the Constitution in the 1970s. It was developed by Paul’s father, Dr. W. Cleon Skousen, and underwent several refinements and revi- sions over the years. By the time Dr. Skousen passed away in 2006, his course had been taught to an estimated 8 million people including two Supreme Court justices, and hundreds of candidates for president, Senate, House, and local State political office.

Today that seminar has been revised and continues to be taught by Paul and other friends and family members across the country.

The 13-hour seminar covers these important topics:

  1. What has been happening to America
  2. The Founder’s Search for an Ideal Society
  3. The Founding Fathers’ Basic Beliefs
  4. The Historical Roots of America
  5. The Birth of a Nation
  6. The Miracle at Philadelphia
  7. The Baptism of Fire
  8. -13. A phrase-by-phrase examination of the Constitution

In 2023, Paul and his friends Allen Zeng and Cathy Zhang joined forces to teach the Miracle of America seminar to patriotic Chinese Americans in both English and Chinese. Out of this expe- rience grew the inspired idea of taking a tour of the very sites talked about in the seminar.

The Miracle of America Tour
This one-week exploration into America’s birthplace covers 7 days and 700 miles—from Plym- outh Massachusetts in the north where the Pilgrim’s Mayflower dropped anchor, all the way to Yorktown Virginia in the south where Britain formally surrendered to George Washington.

The sites visited have varied according to the season but have included: Plymouth and its famous gristmill, the Mayflower II, the almost forgotten National Monument to the Forefathers, Boston and surrounding historical sites, the scene of the Battles of Saratoga, Washington’s Crossing of the Delaware, reenactments of various key battles, Independence Hall and surrounding sites, the National Archives, Fort McHenry—home of the Star Spangled Banner, George Wash- ington’s home at Mount Vernon, Jamestown, the USS Constitution, Bunker Hill, the US Capitol building, Thomas Jefferson’s home in Monticello, James Madison’s home in Montpelier, and others. We travel by bus where Paul and Allen lecture on the sites Seen. All meals, hotels, tips and fees are covered in the cost.

The Miracle of America Tour has become a favorite for Paul and his wife, Kathy. It’s a chance to make new friends with 50 other people, answer their questions, and hear their Stories.
